Game Overview

Forza Horizon 1 is all about tearing the street to pieces with the realistic driving physics of the Forza Motorsport series and the freedom and frenzy of a festival atmosphere. A make-believe municipality, some version of Colorado full of vigour, is the playing field of the game and entices the players with various landscapes. From sun-kissed deserts and dense forests to twisting mountain roads and small towns, myriad colorful open-world environments cover the game’s surface. The virtual driver plunges into the world as a nameless rookie who gets his chance to lead his name onto the Horizon Festival’s hit list, the festival to end all festivals for car culture fans.

The developers maintain the fun factor because the balance between simulation and accessibility is the most important to them.
